This weekend, I ventured off to Dartmoor to see the Moorland Mythic Arts exhibition in Moretonhampstead. The exhibition features mostly local artists, who are all inspired by the area, it was really nice to see all these amazing works of art in real life!
As it was about a 4 hour drive to get there, I decided to stay for the whole weekend, and planned to do some drawing of the weird twisty trees and mossy, licheny rocks, but as always when you have plans that rely on it being warm, it rained, almost non stop!! I did make it out for a walk, but i think if I'd tried to get my sketchbook out, it would have dissolved in the rain... like my map did...
Even so, I had a really good time, and will hopefully go back in better weather!!
